- Small class sizes, allowing very high levels of individual teacher time. At Bishopstrow, there is a maximum of 8 students per class for English and 12 students for other academic subjects, whilst at Padworth, average class size is 8-10 students.
- Personalised learning plans for each student, detailing progress and areas for improvement in English, academic subjects and other areas of school life.
- Weekly testing is a feature of assessment and target setting at both colleges, with a focus on each student’s individual talents and strengths.

- A diverse international community – the student community at both colleges is made up of up to 30 nationalities.
- At Padworth, subject combinations are flexible, with students offered advice on optimal study plans at the point of admission.
